Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the InvoiceWiz website and the InvoiceWiz private beta. By joining the waitlist, reserving a roundtable seat, or using the product, you agree to them. Nothing here limits the mandatory rights you have as an EU consumer.
1. Who we are
InvoiceWiz is operated by InvoiceWiz B.V. (placeholder pending incorporation details), Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In these terms, "we", "us" and "InvoiceWiz" mean that entity, and "you" means the person or business using the site or product.
2. The service
InvoiceWiz is software that collects an invoice for each of your card and bank charges, matches it to the right transaction, verifies the match, and prepares a reconciled package for your accountant. Core processing runs locally on your device.
3. Private beta and availability
- The product is in a private beta. Access is limited, granted at our discretion, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee access.
- Beta software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, break, or be removed, and availability is not guaranteed.
- The Amsterdam roundtable is offered subject to availability. The date is to be confirmed and may change; reserving a seat is not a binding commitment by either side.
4. Your responsibilities (acceptable use)
You agree to use InvoiceWiz lawfully and only for your own bookkeeping, not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the service, and not to reverse engineer, resell, or circumvent access controls except where the law expressly permits.
You remain responsible for reviewing and approving matches. InvoiceWiz assists and proposes; you are the gate. It does not replace your accountant or your own duty to keep accurate records.
5. Your data
Your financial documents are processed on your machine and are not uploaded to us. The limited personal data we do handle (for example, your waitlist email) is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
InvoiceWiz, its software, branding and website content are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the limited right to use the service as intended during the beta.
7. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind. InvoiceWiz is a tool to reduce bookkeeping admin; it is not accounting, tax, or legal advice, and it does not guarantee that your records will satisfy every requirement. Always have your accountant review your books.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on the service without your own review. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch or EU law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory law (for example, EU consumer protection rules) gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
